PITCH : This project was quite simply my first serious experience with scriptwriting and group working. We were a band of young and innocent students, we loved animation and Role Playing Games and we just thought it was our duty to create an adult oriented animated series so we chose the famous White Wolf’s RPG Vampire The Masquerade.
We called ourselves BlindDog Studio and our plan was quite simple: make a killer presentation, convince White Wolf to sell us the rights for a TV animated show and then convince producers. Yes we were naives too.
Of course it never succeeded – and probably never will – but we really believed in it all those years and it has been quite an experience. Even though I still can’t make up my mind whether it has been a great waste of time or a formative experience but this long lost state of bliss did changed and shaped my life in many ways.
This page is not about a rags to riches story that ends well (we succeeded in nothing and my life was a mess on so many levels) but it’s a story worth telling or, at least, worth reminding.
So, this page is a dedication to all those fanboy’s dreams and expectations, to all those wonderful and talented people I worked with and are now my closest friends, to all the sweating, crying and laughing we had, to all this energy we crystallized on papers and computer screens.
I’m pretty sure some of you know what I’m talking about.
