PITCH : Meet Meltown’s Police inspector Emma Gray. A woman of her time, a foxy Sex&the City character with a strong Die Hard edge.
She got in charge of the infamous “Meltown’s Werewolf” case when two of her fellow officers die in duty.
Not a believer at first, she is soon forced to cope with this unexpected hint of fantasy when Martin Gale – the new forensic she feels attracted to – turns into a giant Werefox creature.
And so will she learn that this legendary curse is a real and rare congenital disease that ultimately sets the one it strikes apart from the human society.
Those very few people are at lost when left without a proper guidance and so is the Meltown’s Werewolf, a child with so much repressed anger in him, he unleashes his werewolf self at night on the older version of his young torturers.
So, as Emma and Martin are willing to stop those murders, they will have to stop this child first and find him a proper guidance.
EMMA is a very modern take on both the classic cop and werewolf stories and focuses on a cynical and almost fashionable heroine. It’s written to emulate the contemporary TV series and the nouvelle vague invading the comic medium in which characterization is built from strong catchy dialogues and social environment to a very movie like pace and storytelling
